Shifting tides 2011 at Herring Island Gallery

Shifting Tides is a collection of images from Photography Studies College graduate students of 2010. It comprises a series of photographic explorations around the notion of the shifting tide. These images can be interpreted literally or metaphorically, can be seen to relate to the Yarra itself, or engage more broadly with the environment in general. Some of the images also can be seen to have cultural, social or political significance as they contribute to our understandings and very timely reflections on the power and immensity of the shifting tide.
