As an integral part of final year, students are required to secure as an industry mentor, a contemporary photographer whose work they find inspiring and challenging.

According to the Mentor Program Coordinator Barry Thompson, “this program provides a direct link to contemporary industry practice, fostering a network of contacts and often leading to direct employment outcomes for graduates.”

Students spend a minimum number of contact hours with their mentor observing, discussing, receiving feedback and gathering industry knowledge.
