Experience: Damian has worked as a lawyer in private and public practice and for the past 25 years as a senior manager and academic at several universities and private higher education providers. He has presented at local and international conferences on topics such as university governance,  quality audits of international education partners; change management and the impact of international education on public universities.

Qualifications: Bachelor of Economics and Bachelor of Laws (Monash University); Graduate Diploma in Business Information Systems (Swinburne University of Technology) and a Master in Tertiary Education (University of Melbourne). His PhD (awarded by the University of Melbourne) researched and reviewed the governance of the Australian higher education sector and public universities. He is a Fellow of the Association for Tertiary Education Management (ATEM) and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (MAICD).
