Photography Studies College achieved the highest rating in Photography nationally in 2019, being acknowledged again by the Australian Government’s Student Experience Survey (www.qilt.edu.au), as one of the national leaders in higher education. This detailed annual survey asks students to rate and comment on their college/university experience across multiple categories like ‘teaching quality’, ‘learning resources’, ‘skills development’, ‘student support’ and more. You can access the precious feedback of the students and graduates from the new government website ComparED and see for yourself how we did!
The survey report hails PSC as a ‘site of best practice in the student experience which other institutions may learn from’!
PSC Managing Director Julie Moss said, “I am so proud of our talented staff who are all so committed to creating the best experience for our students. Students are rightly very discerning about their education. They know what works for them and what they need in order to have a high-quality educational experience. Our students have spoken and given us the highest possible endorsement!”
PSC Higher Education Course Director Daniel Boetker-Smith said, “this is the third consecutive year that we have taken part in the Student Experience Survey, and the second year that we have been rated No.1 against all HE providers in the country, public and private. We are so proud that our Bachelor of Photography course has been rated by our students as the best visual arts degree in the country. The secret of our success is simple - we have specialist world-class facilities, internationally renowned staff, and we maintain small class sizes across the course to ensure that students get the right start in their creative career.”
Applications for Mid-Year 2022 and 2023 full time courses are now open.
Full time courses include the Bachelor of Photography, the Masters of Arts Photography, the Certificate IV in Photography and PhotoImaging, the Undergraduate Certificate of Photography, and the Diploma of Photography and PhotoImaging.
