Submission of daily images & of final folio selected with Elli in accordance with Project Brief 01.
Social media content shared and credited in accordance with workshop guidelines.
No sharing / disclosing exact locations of workshop on social media (eg : Paris France is acceptable ) as this workshop is delivered twice a year so locations are part of the exclusive access as a fully paid participant .
Admission/Fees
Workshop fees include:
- workshop tuition for Paris fashion photography street style at Haute Couture Week with fashion photographer Elli Ioannou
- Exclusive work experience of street style fashion photography in Paris
- Additional work experience opportunities to photograph 1 show per person inside with Elli Ioannou
- Live Fashion Week workshops (2 shows per day)
- Information and behind the scenes industry insights
- Post-production
- A photo essay portfolio of hero images 60-100 images
- Social media / Instagram guidance for folio + network development
NOT INCLUDED
Students / participants’ own costs:
All food costs and public transport or taxis
Accommodation in Paris - allow up to 7 nights (recommendations available if needed )
International flights + travel insurance
Payment Process
Payments can be made in two lots as long as the final payment is received within the cut off dates outlined here and on the PSC website for either Early Bird or full rate.
$500 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your spot (please note Elli offers the workshop to participants from Europe as well so the numbers are a maximum of 10)
*deposit is part of your payment and will be deducted from your fees
Insurance
Your facilitator /lecturer has Public Liability insurance in France, but all participants must also have travel insurance which should also cover your equipment, including smart phones /laptops.

January 2023FAQ - Paris fashion Workshop
Who is this for?
Open to all student levels and alumni with basic to intermediate skills.
Is the workshop strictly going to the locations of fashion shows and taking photos of the attendees outside on the street?
YES - we will visit a couple of areas where shows are held except for Day 1/Saturday, which is the introduction day. On Day 6 you will refine your image files and select your final content for feedback.
Will we get to photograph inside shows?
Yes, each attendee will photograph 1 show each - this is an exclusive work experience opportunity to photograph 1 inside show with Elli Ioannou.
When should I arrive in Paris?
It is recommended that you arrive between 1 - 2 days before the workshop starts.
It is highly recommended that participants from Australia arrive at least 2 days in advance.
Can I get credit for my workshop participation towards my course?
Students in the Bachelor of Photography & Digital Imaging can get credit towards WDP 315 Workshop Practicum.
Advanced Diploma of Photography students may be eligible for credit against units of study. Contact the College.
