MiPlace policies

Access to MiPlace 

All PSC students gain access to the units or subjects for which they are enrolled in a Semester 5 Business Days prior to commencement. 

Late enrolments (within 5 Business Days) are given access as soon as practicable before the commencement of the unit or subject in which they are enrolled. 

 Access is retained to those units or subjects until the end of the semester of study in which they have enrolled.  

Cert IV 

Students have an end date of 6 weeks after the unit of competency is complete.  

  • Two weeks for unit teacher to grade student work. 
  • Two weeks for a student to respond to their grade and comment if required. 
  • Two further weeks for final assessment results to be entered by the unit or subject teacher.

Bachelor 

Users have end dates 6 weeks after the course is complete for students.  

  • Two weeks for unit teacher to grade student work. 
  • Two weeks for a student to respond to their grade and comment if required. 
  • Two further weeks for final assessment results to be entered by the unit or subject teacher. 

 Advanced Diploma 

  • Two weeks for unit teacher to grade student work. 
  • Two weeks for a student to respond to their grade and comment if required. 
  • Two further weeks for final assessment results to be entered by the unit or subject teacher.

All semester / trimesters unit will close once the students next semester / trimester commences at PSC latest date of closure. 

Subjects / units in miPlace are open to students 5 days prior to the commencement of the subject / unit and then closed 6 weeks after the final unit of competency is complete. During this period students have access to learning resources and materials and can download as needed. Once the subject unit is closed off you will no longer have access or be able to download any of the learning resources.
