Face to face Interactive workshop on location. |
Our intensive, hands-on weekend workshops are an exciting part of our Certificate courses, and they provide a wonderful opportunity to improve your photography skills .
In our Location Lighting and Photographing People Workshop you will explore the urban environment; develop a greater awareness of the effects of natural light; hone your camera craft through direct feed-back and hands-on troubleshooting; identify interesting subjects to create engaging images and explore further how to utilise composition using natural light more effectively.
As you explore these environments and intriguing spaces you will learn to see in new ways and create engaging photographs that show a greater awareness of light and image.
Led by seasoned professionals, this workshop is perfect for both beginners and enthusiasts looking to add a new dimension to their photography portfolio. Unleash your creativity and explore the world from a unique perspective.
Whilst on location you'll have the opportunity to practice your photographic skills in a supportive hands-on manner and receive feedback from your teachers who will be with you on location to assist you and present creative solutions.
Working from a photographic perspective, you’ll learn more about communication skills and strategies for photographing urban environments. You will also learn more about photographing and engaging with people on location.
Integral to both days is your practice of using light: how to see it, how to manage it and how to use it to create impact and mood in your images. In the tradition of “the great photographers”, you will learn how to capture the moment and use the camera as a creative tool.
